Research on efficient defrosting control logic for transcritical CO2 electric vehicle heat pump air-conditioning system

The improper defrosting operation would not only cause severe performance deterioration and energy waste but also reduce comfort. dynamic control strategy of electric vehicle heat pumps is more complicated than that other pumps. To find an efficient logic, a transcritical CO 2 pump test bench for vehicles was built. First, the thermodynamic characteristics in process were analyzed, based on which method accurately determining end proposed. Then, comparative experiment core parameters affected speed carried out, suggestions optimizing given. In addition, continuous frost-defrosting under different humidity further studied. It found decided whether additional dehumidification strategies should be adopted after defrosting. Finally, detailed logic from heating frosting to research will promote development industry by improving efficiency meeting requirements socially sustainable through saving energy.
